Passenger terminal at the port of Skikda

The preliminary study aims to build a new passenger terminal at the port of Skikda, to serve cruise ships and ferries currently landed on this pier.
As a first step of the study, we analyzed the urban and natural context of Skikda and port, and the physical characteristics of the place: the orientation, topography, natural features and existing infrastructure and made a program proposal that defines the functions, references and actual conditions that lead to a volume, commercially oriented and given construction process.
The architectural project of this preliminary study include: general arrangement plans,a program outline zoning, volumetric study and reference images for buildings and open spaces.
