Public tender for the adaptation and operation, under an administrative concession, of the marina facilities in the northern area of the port of Valencia North Dock

The competition is part of a large-scale transformative vision, a strategy that seeks to better connect the city with the seafront, improve the city-port relationship, incorporating the marina into the city.

The northern dock is the area closest to the beach and, therefore, the one with the greatest potential to attract visitors on foot (or by bike) who are already in large numbers in the vicinity of the marina.
Ideal for commercial, catering, events and leisure use, it needs to improve visibility, accessibility and connection with the environment.
The proposed new uses aim to improve its attractiveness and give personality/character to the area, as a GATE TO THE MARINA.

The proposal includes the green transformation of the current dock and the introduction of new commercial and tourist uses (shopping centre, shops, restaurants). To improve mobility, a park-parking area and new routes for pedestrians and bicycles are planned.
