Gate of Peralada. Entrance pavilion and Interpretation Center of the Peralada Castle monumental complex

The Gate of Peralada is a storefront building and visitor reception space, with a small commercial area (shop - wine display), spaces to manage reservations, call center, offices and meeting rooms at the mezzanine. The building shares an access ramp to the basement storage floor with the neighboring building, the Mirador pavilion. At the same time, it is also a viewpoint of the castle: it directs the views on the ground floor, following the entrance axis diagonally, and opens the loft with a large viewpoint terrace to enjoy the privileged view of the most iconic facade of the castle.
The monumental ensemble of the Castle, the historic garden and the Carmel Convent, located on the edge of the walled enclosure, treasure unique values, some of them little known. Our mission is to enhance the corner, designing a gateway construction that organizes visitors' access to different parts of the monumental complex and other places of Peralada, and at the same time acts as a showcase of the Group's brands, values and local products of Peralada and the milestones of the Festival.
