Hotel in Marina Badalona, Barcelona

The area for the new hotel project is located in the district of La Mora in the municipality of Badalona. It is included within the port service area that make up the current Port of Badalona and the future canal, with a total area of 327,240 m2. It stands out for being part of a port piece: The port of Badalona.
The hotel proposal is based on landscape premises resulting from an exhaustive Landscape Study that is summarized in a building integrated to the place and adapted to its current environment and future growth of its surroundings.
The building concentrates much of the volume built on the lower floors and structures the upper floors in the form of a tower, so that all rooms have a privileged orientation and overlooking the sea.
The volumetry is the result of the sum of three premises: a base of 4 floors containing the public part of the hotel, together with part of the rooms facing a green courtyard; an intermediate floor, which connects the upper floors with the base, containing the Hotel Lobby and the restaurant, along with gardens and outdoor pool and impressive visuals towards the sea; and finally the tower of rooms, in the form of "L" opening to the sea and to the visuals.
