Restoration of the Masía de la Caseta de L’Estany and its surroundings. Roses, Girona. Spain
The proposal is the restoration of the Masía de la Caseta de L’Estany and its surroundings.
New uses are proposed for these areas, including the restoration of the old house in an information and reception space for visitors of the Ampordán wetland park (827m2), a small hotel attached to these facilities and the location of a new raft or "wetland" as the extension of the nature reserve area.
In the annexed area, the creation of a new captive breeding center for birds (17,807m2) is proposed as well as the landscape regeneration of the existing stream (Rec Madral) and a new surface parking area for visitors.
