Landscape Improvement at the Cala Gogo Campsite in Calonge i Sant Antoni. Preliminary study

The preliminary study aims at the most exclusive area of the Sènia Cala Gogo International Camping Site in Calonge and Sant Antoni. It is a 2.3-hectare area located between Andorra Avenue and the beach of Ses Torretes / Cala Gogo.
The preliminary study analyses the current state of the facilities, identifying the improvement opportunities, and proposes specific “surgical” interventions to modernise the campsite, improve its accessibility and transform its green spaces into a botanical garden. The aim is to enhance the landscape value of the site, as a cluster of bungalows and mobile homes in the middle of the forest, under the pine trees and in front of the sea.
The aim is to move from the conventional vibe of the current campsite to a more careful design, maintaining the same relaxed character, but with landscape details more typical of a Mediterranean garden. This new design aims to improve outdoor spaces (internal roads of the campsite, green areas, parking, plots) and is accompanied by a proposal for prototypes of bungalows and mobile homes, specifically designed to take advantage of the sea views and to operate throughout the year.
The project studies the current topography and landscape in order to control the views and enhance direct sea views from the maximum number of bungalows, making better use of the available spaces.
