Preliminary Study for the expansion of the Hotel Peralada. Gerona, Spain
The purpose of this preliminary study is to expand the Peralada Spa Wine & Golf hotel, located within the area of the Peralada golf course. It is a high standard facility, a luxury hotel unique in the entire Alt Empordà for its combination of services: wine spa, spa and gastronomic restoration.
Specifically, it is proposed to build 80 bungalows next to the hotel, on the land that currently occupies hole 18 of the golf course, repositioning it behind the hotel, on the land where the pitch & putt is currently located.
An important idea behind the concept is to break up the expansion into small units rather than a compact building that allows optimal integration into the landscape with a vision of sustainability and eco-design.
