Preliminary Study for Sculptures, Land Art and Camping area of PEU 1, Avenida del Mar, Palafrugell, Gerona. Spain
In order to take advantage of the potential of this undeveloped land, with environmental and landscape values (forest with clearings, well connected between the city and the sea), as a tourist and cultural attraction, a different concept is proposed: a campsite that is not a camping, if not an artistic facility and “tree houses”; removable modules that, apart from the artistic value, have a use value, as accommodation space for the students of the school themselves during the creation campuses or by other visitors, as tourist accommodation.The attraction is the singularity: ephemeral works scattered in nature and a school for workshops and art courses.
