Project for the conversion of the Calonge Slaughterhouse into a mosque
The conversion proposal of the existing building aims to exploit its architectural potential to become a multipurpose and container space for religious, educational and social activities.
The building will be the heart of a future Islamic culture centre for the resident community in St. Antoni - Calonge.
We plan to cover the existing patio, in order to have a prayer hall with enough capacity for the community, and to restore and adapt the building that formerly had another use.
