Development Plan for Calonge Municipal Town Planning, Girona. POUM.

At this stage we have diagnosed spaces for opportunities in town and we have proposed a action plan for each of them after an analysis of shortcomings and potentialities for improvement as a single sector and as a part of a municipality .
_The Calonge core. Recognition of the importance of the unique buildings in the historic center of Calonge. Passig d'hivern prolongation as the main focus of commercial, residencial and facilities expansion.
_Calonge Pla and Tinar Basin. Recognize the importance of Pla de Calonge as a agricultural heritage. Working the urban-no urban limit enhancing possible cushions for built expansion protection. Intervening on the physically interrupted Pla connectivity by road and enhance the area of Tinar ethnology.
_ The sea front and Sant Antoni. To increase trade on Sant Antoni waterfront. Tansformation of Av Catalunya as a urban commercial hub for slow traffic. Enhance the "vertical" flows Pla-sea. To move faster traffic flow to Mascarell Street. Redefinition of the urbanization and construction of the urban area between Pla and Av Catalunya as an town expansion area and a Pla proteccion area at the same time.
_The Unió Avenue. Important axis of connection between Sant Antoni and Calonge, historically separated. Green stripe and for facilitiesd as the limit of Pla.
_ Areas of economic development. Light increase with comercial and facilities areas. Proposal for direct connection to the C 31. In the south, preservation of green space next to the river, agricultural heritage and new quality hotel zone.
_Menagement of real estates and microsurgery. Presence of very large real estates scattered throughout the territory. "Microsurgical" interventions to solve old problems.
_Soil not be developed. To propose the preservation of archaeological and natural heritage in its entirety and its use for routes and activities.
