Report on the classification of coastal land prior to the Coastal Law of 1988. Portbou, Colera, Llançà
The Provincial Coastal Service in Girona commissions a study to verify which lands were classified as urban in the general planning of the municipalities of Colera, Portbou and Llançà, in the extreme north of the Mediterranean coast, when law 22/1988, Coastal Law, came into force.
The objective of the study is to accurately report on the urban classification of all areas of the coast, since the lands classified as urban land upon the entry into force of the law are subject to the easements established therein, with the exception of that the width of the protection easement is 20m.
The study consists of an overlay of regulatory documents in force at the time of approval of the law and identification of the affected plots. Errors or differences between plans are pointed out and ways to correct them are proposed.
