Competition. Underground parking and public park. Barcelona

The designed parking has four floors, one underground floor and three partial underground levels terraced between them. The last floor is alienated with the level of Thous street (n+120.00). The full capacity of the building is 464 cars (with 10 handicapped places) and 67 motorbikes.

The proposal keeps the two established exits, one at the underground floor with a tunnel under Rovira Av. and the other from ground floor with exit to Thous street.

The main access is done through the right side of Rovira Avenue. A two internal ramp system placed at opposite sites in the parking give fluidity and order to the internal circulations. Three cores of stairs and elevators connect all the levels with the park located at the coverfloor.

A system of perforated steal screens and horizontal metallic slates are proposed as façade towards the Rovira Avenue, allowing light and natural ventilation inside the building.
