Public tender for the adaptation and operation, under an administrative concession, of the marina facilities in the northern area of the port of Valencia

The competition is part of a large-scale transformative vision, a strategy that seeks to better connect the city with the seafront, improve the city-port relationship, incorporating the marina into the city.
In this sense, other large-scale transformative projects are being developed in the area around the marina: the Desembocadura (Estuary) Park and the reconversion of the area of the old train station at Grao and the Formula 1 circuit into a new neighbourhood, right next to the marina (PAI del Grao).

7 areas of opportunity have been identified. For each of them, 2 types of actions are proposed: internal and external.
The internal interventions are designed to provide local service, to improve the operation of the marina, its accessibility or internal connection.
The external, general or higher-impact actions represent proposals in a global sense, meant to improve the connection with the city, to attract new visitors by diversifying the uses and attractions of the marina.

The overall vision is that of a green, attractive and integrated marina, a new urban polarity.
