Master Plan Altos de Batele. Panamà
The proposal of the Master Plan is defined as a micro-city with a balanced combination of uses, typical of a small urban center: residential, tourist, business, commercial, public use, urban park and Marine, designed to take advantage of every opportunity of the site.
Volumetrically, the development emphasizes the landscape, standing out beyond the height of the trees, as a series of vertical elements that mark the exit of the Channel in the same way that the singular buildings of Amador mark it on the opposite side.
Vertical development allows us to conserve (or recover) much of the plant cover: the use of soil with waterproof surfaces is minimized, looking for a sustainable urban drainage system . A high density in front of a low occupation of the soil.
