Review of the Masterplan and touristic development for the area of Amador, Panama City.

The review of the Masterplan and touristic development for the area of Amador consists in the study of the history of Amador, the development of a SWOT analysis (Strengths and Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats), and the realization of a Strategy and Action Plan for the Future of Amador.

Within the framework of this study, among the main actions we can highlight the following points:

1. Improving the road connection as the new door of Amador, allowing easy access to the peninsula and avoiding the current problems.
2. The consolidation of a new axis of Amador: The Museums' Promenade.
3. The enhancement and improvement of the existing road, providing it with a platforms system with new uses and green spaces that emphasize the attractiveness of its location and its particular morphology.
4. The constitution of Amador as Archipelago of Tourism Marinas, accompanied by a new road connection between them that allows their optimum functioning.
5. A Hosting Plan to support the above initiatives, constituting a network of resorts, hotels, and residential areas dimensioned to accomplish the requirements needed in the area.
6. The institutional route, highlighting the new Convention Center currently under construction and the new Cruise Port as a special point of tourist arrivals to Amador from the sea.
