Granada Equestrian Center. Guadix. Spain.

This is a high level Equestrian Centre which forms part of the Guadix Golf Resort Master Plan. The project is located in the access area of this resort, just crossing the highway direction Guadix, a town near to the city of Granada, Spain.

The central core is a rehabilitated andaluz country house, which is transformed into a new hotel and reception area. Next to it is the Spa and health centre, the Club House and the Equitation School.

Towards the east we propose a new axis where the training areas will be located: horse boxes, veterinary building, covered court and training courts.

To the west, the hotel area is separated by a flower and water garden from the exhibition areas: jump courts, cross and racing courts and the polo field.

The project has special care in the landscape elements, such as the recover of the river bed, the increasing of natural forest area and the rehabilitation and creation of vineyard areas for the future production of house wine.
