Partial Urban Development Plan SUD 01 - Ridaura, Santa Cristina d'Aro
The SUD 01 - Ridaura planning sector is defined in the Comprehensive Local Plan (POUM) of Santa Cristina d'Aro, aiming to complete the urban fabric between the town center of Santa Cristina and the Ridaura river, making Ridaura Avenue one of the main roads of the of the Santa Cristina town centre, and to complete the system of open spaces in this central area with the creation of the Ridaura Park.
The planning sector consists in an area of 4.68 hectares of developable land, associated with 2.22 hectares of non-developable land expected to be preserved as a green area (public park). It is an area of developable land intended to expand the main town center of Santa Cristina, with a primary residential use.
At the same time, it should be noted that this is a very special location, the future town front facing the river and the main road that runs through the municipality. Therefore, the Partial Urban Development Plan has a prominent landscape and environmental component.
