Multipurpose meeting room in the Girona Civil Guard Command building
The Command Building of the Girona Civil Guard is a rationalist, utilitarian and sober architectural complex; The symmetry and uniform rhythm of the facades dignify the interior patio, without further decorative elements such as trees, furniture or canopies.
The mission of the project is to refurbish a 120 sqm area of the central building, implementing an assembly hall / multipurpose room with a representative character and high flexibility of use.
As a complement, access from the outside is also studied, aiming to dignify and mark the entrance with visual and functional elements (canopy, pavement, planters, flagpoles).
