Home renovation in a historic building in Barcelona's Eixample district

The aim of the project is to preserve the heritage values of the building as much as possible, rediscover and emphasize its character as a noble estate, to give the feeling of living in an exclusive flat in the exclusive area of Quadrat d'Or (Golden Square) of the Eixample district, in a unique, authentic and well-preserved historical building.
In this sense, the first design criterion of the project is to recover and preserve all the elements with architectural value: doors, carpentry, hydraulic floors... any other existing detail of interest can be incorporated as a detail of interior decoration and will add character to the space.
Aiming for this classic and noble character, each room is designed with its own personality, within the same functional typology. The common areas are designed as interactive living spaces, practical and welcoming at the same time.
The global style can be defined as modern classic, with influences from the Belle Époque style of the Eixample.
