New headquarters for the Symphonic Orchestra, Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

The project of the New Civic Center is located in the district of Levante, near Portitxol and the beach of Ca'n Pere Antoni. The project site is located 300m away from the Portitxol area, a place with an increasing tourism interest and luxury residence buildings facing the seafront and surrounding the marina, an old fishing port.

The project, understood as a catalyst and a center for community activities in the new neighborhood, consists of an auditorium for the Symphony Orchestra of the Balear Islands, classrooms and workshops for local entities, and a Civic Center for the Levante area. The construction of the building is planned in two phases:

The first phase includes the construction of the Auditorium, under the concept of "triple skin", a music box that is composed of three boxes: the exterior box is a collection of acoustic green walls; the intermediate box is made of sailcloth and supported by a wood structure; and the acoustic box, formed by acoustic panels, suitable for sound processing. In this first phase it will also take place the decoration of the available outdoor space, turning it into a new public square for the neighborhood, a multipurpose public space.
