The SUD 01 Ridaura sector is an area of 46,800sqm, a place of special importance for the municipality of Santa Cristina d'Aro, due to its location on the front of the urban center of Santa Cristina, towards the Ridaura river and the C-31/C-65 road, the main access road.
The EIIP aims to ensure that urban growth is developed in a manner that respects the physical, environmental and visual characteristics of the territory, promoting planning that reinforces landscape values and improves the quality of life of future users.
The EIIP specifically studies the relationship between the projected buildings and the current urban fabric, and also natural elements, such as the course of the Ridaura river and the adjacent green areas.
The document defines criteria and actions to restore, enhance and maintain the landscape values of the area.
