Single detached house. Parc Sant Berguer, Teià, Barcelona.

The house is developed in a plot with a very high slope but with great views over the sea and the town of Teià. The urban code dictates a free built area around the house of 5mts which did not allow the access by the lower road. Therefore, the swimming pool is located at the lower area and a new "landscape route" is created, from the garden across the house until the new access at the upper street.

The new access is done through a light stair and an elevator from the parking connecting all the different levels. This vertical stair is designed as a glass box piece which articulates the two geometries of the house: the rectangular geometry containing the noble spaces and the curve geometry containing the service spaces.

An horizontal composition order is also established in the finishing materials, exterior textures and colours as well as the composition of containing walls. At the interior, a generous living and dinning room space is created in two levels over the swimming pool. The landscape and the light penetrate in all the house, the rest of the spaces are articulated though a central straight stair which cross the hole house, from the main access until the lower garden.
